Arrow keys? Help!

Hey like instead of moving with the arrow keys for your password, how can i change it so i can just type it in.
Is it in the eoconfig?
pls help

>Go into your FE folder
> click on the config folder
> double click setup
>scroll all the way down to the bottom and change "skipsoftpad" to "On"

I was going to say, doesn't it start up on default when you have the FE launcher? that is.. just typing it?
