Two pets spawning Empty Two pets spawning

I think if you spawn a pet while a map is loading then walk into another map, two pets spawn. This keeps happening when I enter the Flood map with the Fallen Quest thing. Despawning the pets crashes the server (had to find this out the hard way. :l).
