pet name change

i think that ur pets name should apper where "____pet" is on ur pet. It would be cool and if someone has same pet as u u woul kno whch one was urs. Right now pet name is kinda boring cause you have to click the pet ti see the name but if it was over top of your pet you could just move your mouse over it like an npc or character

Excellent idea ! this is what was on EOR, wasn't it? I would love that. A lot better than "Chaos Spawn Pet" and Rocco, I can't play either, I think I'm still banned.. haven't even bothered to check. Been banned for 4 days. ]:

That's just like EOR... 
i dont support sorry.... it would take too much time to make that happen.

Actually that will be easy as Hell.
But if you wish for the easy way.
All you do is have images of the numbers and letters above the head of the pet, small and transparent around them so there is no white.
Only allow so many of them to be up there, and so if you liked placed the name John on it, the images would update for each letter and it'd show John.

Well its just an idea i think it would be really cool to have pet names. and like thiamor posted it wouldn't be that hard I mean its just like making a guild or something. For example on other servers you just type in #guild (w/e u want) then it changes the letters above your head. You can also do that for an npc.hailz wrote:That's just like EOR...

It's not impossible at all.
All it requires is coding. Quite easy coding at that.

I can't tell exactly what you're talking about, but in both cases it's either impossible or unreasonable.
If you're suggesting that you attach these images to the sprites so they float above their heads over the original text, then yeah, it's impossible. You'd have to make a brand new custom coded eo client, and in that event, there's a way easier way of doing that.
If you're suggesting that you create a sprite for every name possible, then that's a huge waste of time and on top of that, there's no way of even importing that much gfx into the client.
Yeah, once I went back and re-read that I figured this much out.
But I still am highly positive that it's possible to code the Pet's to have custom names appear at the top. That just seems so simple, compared to what I've been seeing FE throw out to us already.

Well like I said before just like if you were on another server where you could change your guild tag and stuff with just a command. If you can change part of someones name with a command why can't you do it with an npc? Ele should prove he can code, Not sure how this would be done, I've been told numerous of times he can't code.
