Caveman-Knight-Ish armor start. xD

So, I've started making an armor and what comes next is the pants, and then shading. I'm having a bit of pants problems, so eh.



I didn't want to take it off the sheet.. so uhm. xD

I hope you don't mind I took a go at shading/coloring.

No, I don't mind, Matt. That's amazingly done. I was planning on attempting a cape once I got the legs done, I'm having troubles with the legs. xD

hey I have a question, when I did my weapon, how do i copy and paste it to the other sprites?

like you know how there is each lil avatar? How do u copy and paste the armour into the avatar, er u redo it over and over again?

like you know how there is each lil avatar? How do u copy and paste the armor into the avatar, er u redo it over and over again?

Do you mean for sheeting animations? If it is than you can just copy it over, but you have to redraw the legs and arms for every frame yeah, there's no easy way around it.

Do you use Graphics Gale? If not, you really should.. An easy way to do the sheeting is just keeping the armor on a layer above so you don't actually have to separate it from the sheet later. Like in Bescared's thread on sheeting weapons.

I've been constantly screwing up on the pants (For the fact I accidentally saved the pants as black..) I can't seem to make them look good, so I've decided to make a new pair.

Anyway, here's what the pants looked like..

You know, I took up a chance of shading it in. Here's what it turned out as. (Some how the plate ended up darker then the pants..)

I'm not sue what you did for shading on the legs with the gray, but it looks horrible. why aren't they the same color as the plate?

I screwed up on the gray area, it wasn't meant to even be shading of any sort. And I don't know, I used the same blend of colors for the legs as I did chest. lol.

It's easy to pixel over with the basic blue color anyway, just retry

I think the colors are closer.., but I need to add design.

Notice how each shade can be noticeable beside the lighter/darker shades, its just how you use them that makes it look blended.

This comes to mind with your color choices too, their so close together it just looks like solid color.

Alright, well I'll try just completely putting it blue and try shading it again.
