Getting out of hand!

Okay honestly i understand most of you wants the chance to become a FE admin..

But many of you are too new to the server/forums i mean most of the apps that been submitted the past 2 months..ect are either new people who recently join. Using a template and reading others admin app isn't they way of cutting it. There' more to being a admin than just making a good app.

1st: You need major knowledge of the server, knowing things will also help others as well as yourself it would bring a good character status on your behalf. - I seen this happen already i would ask a few admins some questions and they either ignore it or simply pm me saying IDK..

2nd: You need to be respectful to yourself first of before you could allow your self to the general public . You need to be mature when it comes to dealing with players. No one would never know who's behind there computer screen and how sensitive one person feelings are. Always try to be patient with players some might be 13 year old kids and most might be much older yet act like 13 years old.. This is the major part of being a admin this would help you save a few noobs from either quitting . I understand some admins as soon as they login gets like 20 pms or more this is really what you signed up for. You have to deal with it on your own special way but also follow the rules.

As far as my ordeal in suggestion to this topic. Otakulove i think you should make this section of the forums locked to users who has a minimum of 50 post and below . Looking at someone who's active on forums the way they deal with there replys/topics make a good way of judgment of character by simply viewing most of there replys/topics so it could also help to see those who spamm the forums just to get this section unlocked.

First; Age is only a number. There are Admins currently on the staff only 12 years old and in some cases they can be more mature then the older Admins.
Maturity, I can agree with, I think you need to have at least the common sense to know what's appropriate and what isn't.

In my personal opinion no admin is mature, Grace (Otakulove) would have to be the most mature out of them all. Alucard takes it a little far, and others.

I disliked him because he acted like he was all that, he acted all friendly, when he acts like a (no swearing) when you talk to him alone, or in private messages, normally.

WarrLordd i totally agree with you.
Its getting out of hand , new players signing in for admin
should be all not be hired , pixeler /mapper or not.
First show you are a good , patience , polite player then apply
for admin.

These FE admin wannabees should go to a FE admin school, learn about the Fe histoy, and its Fe ways. On the admin trials I was in before, I was given a several tests by our previous Admin, Important, and watched how we act in the game. k byee. If you new players who wana be admins, know the stuff before you apply.

Stop dwelling on the past, the server is moving on, and the people are too.
Why would knowing the history of the server be a requirement for a moderator position?
There is never going to be a situation in the game where you need to know something that happened months ago that has nothing to do with anything.
Stop being such a Debbie Downer and live with it. I know it's your own opinion, and you have rights to express it, just stop being so condescending toward
everyone else because you've been playing for a long time.

Actually I agree with Sniper that they should know what has happened in the past. Say if an admin did bad in the past, they should know it so that they know how to tell when it's happening again, and to know not to do it themselves.

The history of FE is more important than you think, because things had happened that all players and admin need to know about so that they don't repeat it, nor letting anyone else repeat it.

I remember fake jono dropping all admins items, and the gay admin luke dropping (no swearing). Whenever admins go rogue they destroy Fe. And we get a roll back.

Knowing history is a part of being a good admin. If older players decides to join back and very much have change you as a admin have to know these changes personally. An entire map can be moved out of it's range and a old player would not know these things are needed to be known.

Also the current state of FE is a general must! This is where you help new and old players..
Having a good character status isn't enough as it is..
Cause basically this is basically what every admin in the past has had to deal with some didn't know where anything is (i understand if the game been update nightly and new stuff been added) but older stuff quest/items..ect needs to be known on a regular bases.

Why do you think most admin been fired/retired?
For the newer generation of admins that was hired fast 7 months most of them didn't know anything really yes they were recommended or have been giving a small trail but when it came to the reality of players which is different. As in asking questions and not getting answered, doesn't alone stress the players out but as well as the admin until they start to ignore most questions then realize and some put it in there own way i don't need to answer you. (I'm just here to jail/ban you) Messed up the entire system as it is.

So yes knowing a little bit will help. It's to help someone when they become admin they can answer player straight away and not get stressed out..

Admin is a serious thing it depends on your dedication to helping out and knowing most of the general tutorials to a server is a golden star.

I think there should be at least a small requirement of playtime to be able to become a pixeler or mapper for the server. However, the playtime should be more of a requirement in applying for a moderator position. I agree, the amount of new players trying to apply for moderator is rising and getting out of hand. :/

um yes you do. idiot. we have had at least 3 admins who've gone rogue and tried to ruin Fe by dropping admin items and unreleased items in bulk, its a pain in the ass for ele to do a rollback and a pain in the ass to players because they may lose thier stuff when the server rolled back.

Also, as a side note, I had maybe two weeks of in-game experience before I was hired as a pixel artist, and it was plenty. I was dedicated and I had already learned much about the game, even though I hadn't been playing long. So maybe a time requirement shouldn't hold, but perhaps a test instead.

See? There are people who get hired without history on FE.
I've gotten some sort of test whenever I was interviewed by Otaku, she gave me certain situations, I answered correctly.

tests like a " What If...." and the askin like " the ways if you become a admin how will you contribute inot the game and making it better. etc.
