Petition for the Removal of Level Requirement System

Fallen Evolution. One of EOServ's greatest private servers. It might be huge, but it losing the fun.


F.E. used to be a place where you could hang out, meet with people, and nobody cared what level you were. I myself was level 10'ish back in the day and noobs always wanted help from me. But recently, level seems to start mattering more. You find yourself pushing long hours to wear that "Tensa Zangetsu" or that "Captain Robes". But in the long run, is it really worth it. Demoting your real life activities so you can wear pixelated items. I love the game, just not the way it is turning out.


Training

Training used to be easy. I'll go ahead and say it now, it was fun. But now, EXP is being nerfed left and right. How are we supposed to meet the level demand if the EXP doesn't match to the TNL amounts we need. We needs tens of millions of EXP to reach level 100, but the best EXP currently is a slow-spawning 17k Ice Giant. Now, lets do the math.

1,000,000 TNL
------------- DIVIDED BY
17,000 = 58.8 Ice Giants.

The average time to kill one ice giant is 30 seconds, and the average spawn time is one minute.
Add 30 and 60, you get waiting for an ice giant in the same spot for 90 seconds of killing and waiting. Times 90 by 58, and divide that by 60, you will spend close to an hour training for one level. Ridiculous.

Your support matters. Together, we will have the LVL REQ system removed.

I agree on the fact that low levels do wanna wear some awesome stuff. I think your idea is great, but there is also even a greater flaw in your idea.

1. High levels - I once was a low level with some pretty good exp (only about 5k more?). If a level 100 saw a level 0 with the same (no swearing) he had... wow that would make that level 100 feel ALL his time of playing was for NOTHING.
2. What's the use? If this whole game was just on getting all the items you want at any level, then there really is no point in training/spending your time on this game. Even chatting can get boring at times.
3. Training - You need to train in any game. Mostly RPG games require you to train to do certain things. Such as wearing some item/doing quests/just going to places. You must earn these. And you won't be totally deprived of your real life activities. Just 1 hour a day can get you a good amount of EXP. Some will say "training is boring" but honestly, what are you going to do on this game then? just chat the whole time? What a waste of time.
4. This server will always be #1, disregard the other servers i.e eoatlas. It's that simple, we have the best pixel artists, the best custom items (more to come) and a pretty good community. Level requirements won't bring the server down, rather, motivate the players to train and get good items.

Even you, Rykleos, trained to wear your angel wings. Although you might have spent HOURS, there's some reward in that training.
Even you, PLayboy, trained to wear your BLS. Like I said before, you might have spent hours, but it really didn't go to waste if you wanted to wear that item.

lvl reqs keep people from just buying into the game,
its already much much easier to get money on this server.

LVL 100 =/= diffucult
IIRC Mrmaker at lvl 190 something had 16mtnl, well for me I can get 6m exp per hour, thats 3 hours, I spent 40 hours total grinding on Main to get to lvl 12

some ppl hate to kill things for hours though i spend most all my time talking instead of killing stuff

you and ur ice giants you must be insane, Map 55, AKA Lava octo. Instant respawn 8k exp in 3sec.
Do the math.
If we remove the lvl cap, We just get noobs with clusters spamming spells on floods?

I would agree back in the day but me and a couple people including josh had this talk already that FE does need requirements because to me i dont think its fair that a newb lvl 1 can wear angel wings FE sword and Bankai robes when iv worked my ass off to be able to wear them. Also the lvl requirement got lowered A LOT back in the day Cap robes were lvl 100 requirement and so was tensa and Zangs so if i were u id be happy that they r just lvl 40s and 50s now. So all in all i DISAGREE

ok realy i DISAGREE because u guys should be happy that this server isent main cuz on main it'll probly take u a week 2 get from lvl 10 to 11 in this server it will take 1 hour 2 get from lvl 1 all the way to a lvl 20-30

But then i read, and well yea you need the lvl requirements or else rich noobs would be powerful! And ppl got to stop arguing about like, be happy this is not main or in main it would take you.... because this server is NOT main, and if it would be main, then it would loose its players. This topic is pretty much dead because Imp. said no and also Roefl said no and i think people (after reading everything) would disagree of the removal of the lvl requirements, just like me.

There are reasons why people are rich and poor. One reason, is because of Level requirements it gives high and poor lvled people a chance to level FAIRLY. Secondly, is people who merchant.

It's sad that the ones' who want it to go away, are the ones' who don't even TRY to level to the required level.

Lvl reqs are in the game because players should have a goal. If an old player spent five days trying to get an item they always wanted and a new player suddenly gets it and is strong as them, wouldn't the other player feel that all their training was a waste?
